What we treat

Most of what comes through the door is on this short list. Each item links to a fuller page.

  • Low back pain and sciatica, which often show up together.
  • Neck pain, including the stiff neck that follows long days at a screen.
  • Headaches with a neck or muscle component.
  • Joint pain in the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, or knee.
  • Hurt in a car accident? Our car accident care page explains the first visit and Florida's 14-day PIP window.

Services

Chiropractic care is the core of the practice. The examination comes first. Treatment is matched to what it finds, which can include adjustment of joints that are not moving well and hands-on work of the involved muscles.

Dry needling is available when the examination points to trigger points or myofascial pain (pain from tight bands in muscle). A thin filament needle is placed into the involved muscle.

Acupuncture is offered here as a separate service, with its own examination and its own pricing. It is provided by Dr. Bobby Koser, DC, chiropractic physician, certified in acupuncture by the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine. Dry needling and acupuncture are different treatments. The exam decides which fits your case.

Look for the pylon sign

HealthSpine Chiropractic is at 10330 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Suite 205, Tampa, FL 33618, on North Dale Mabry Highway just north of the West Linebaugh Avenue intersection. From most of Town 'n' Country the route is the Veterans Expressway (SR 589) north from the Hillsborough Avenue interchange, Exit 4, to the Linebaugh Avenue exit, Exit 7. Turn east on Linebaugh Avenue and follow it to North Dale Mabry Highway, then turn north. Our pylon sign faces Dale Mabry and reads Concierge Injury & Wellness Care, and the suite number is 205.

From Exit 4 at Hillsborough Avenue to Exit 7 at Linebaugh Avenue is about three miles of expressway. The Waters Avenue interchange, Exit 6A, sits about a mile short of the Linebaugh exit, and Waters Avenue does reach North Dale Mabry Highway on its own, but it meets the highway well south of us, past AdventHealth Carrollwood at 7171 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. Linebaugh Avenue is the shorter finish from either direction.

The Veterans Expressway is an all-electronic toll road, so there are no cash booths on that stretch. If you would rather skip the toll, Linebaugh Avenue does the whole trip on its own: it runs east as a surface arterial from Westchase, through Town 'n' Country and across the expressway, to Dale Mabry Highway in Carrollwood. From the Countryway side you can pick it up where Sheldon Road crosses it and drive straight east to our corner.

The bay side of Town 'n' Country starts somewhere different. Bay Crest Park sits between Old Tampa Bay and Memorial Highway, and Dana Shores sits off Memorial Highway across from Rocky Point Golf Course. Memorial Highway meets the Veterans Expressway at Exit 3 and Hillsborough Avenue meets it at Exit 4, and both entrances put you on the same stretch heading north to Linebaugh Avenue. Outside rush hour, plan about 15 to 20 minutes from Hillsborough Avenue and Hanley Road, and closer to 20 to 25 minutes from the Memorial Highway end.

Common questions

Where is the closest HealthSpine office to Town 'n' Country?

HealthSpine Chiropractic is at 10330 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Suite 205, Tampa, FL 33618, in Carrollwood. From Town 'n' Country, take the Veterans Expressway north to Exit 7, Linebaugh Avenue, then head east on Linebaugh Avenue to North Dale Mabry Highway and turn north; the office is just past that intersection, and the pylon sign facing Dale Mabry reads Concierge Injury & Wellness Care. What does a first visit cost?

The New Patient exam is $195, an introductory price, one per patient, self-pay only. The regular price is $330. It includes a history and physical examination, and Dr. Koser goes over the findings with you before any care is recommended. Our other prices are time-of-service rates, available when you pay in full at the visit. Care billed to a third-party payor, including auto insurance under Florida PIP, health insurance, Medicare, or workers' compensation, is billed on our standard fee schedule without either discount. Every other bookable price is published on our pricing page, so you can read prices before you book.

Is there a chiropractor near Town 'n' Country who treats car accident injuries?

Yes. HealthSpine treats car accident injuries at the Carrollwood office, reached from Town 'n' Country by the Veterans Expressway north to the Linebaugh Avenue exit and then east on Linebaugh Avenue. Florida law gives you 14 days from the crash to begin care and keep your no-fault medical benefits. If that window is open, call us and we will get you examined. Book the Auto Accident Injury Visit rather than the standard New Patient exam. Car accident care is billed to your auto insurance under Florida PIP, and that first exam covers your PIP paperwork.

How long does it take to drive from Town 'n' Country to HealthSpine?

Outside rush hour, plan about 15 to 20 minutes from Hillsborough Avenue and Hanley Road in Town 'n' Country. The route runs east on Hillsborough Avenue to the Veterans Expressway at Exit 4, about three miles north to Exit 7 at Linebaugh Avenue, then east on Linebaugh Avenue to North Dale Mabry Highway, where the office sits just north of the intersection. From the Memorial Highway end of Town 'n' Country, closer to 20 to 25 minutes. Hillsborough Avenue and Linebaugh Avenue both back up at peak hours, so leave extra time.

Do you see patients from Countryway and the Sheldon Road area?

Yes. Countryway sits on the west side of Town 'n' Country, between Hillsborough Avenue on the south and Linebaugh Avenue on the north, with Countryway Boulevard along its western edge. Sheldon Road crosses both Waters Avenue and Linebaugh Avenue, so from that side you can pick up Linebaugh Avenue at Sheldon Road and drive east the whole way to North Dale Mabry Highway without touching the toll road. The address is 10330 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Suite 205, Tampa, FL 33618.

Is HealthSpine close to Bay Crest Park or Dana Shores?

Both sit on the bay side of Town 'n' Country, off Memorial Highway. Bay Crest Park lies between Old Tampa Bay and Memorial Highway, and Dana Shores lies across from Rocky Point Golf Course on Dana Shores Drive, a few miles from Tampa International Airport. From either one, Memorial Highway meets the Veterans Expressway at Exit 3 and Hillsborough Avenue meets it at Exit 4, and both put you on the same stretch north to the Linebaugh Avenue exit for our Carrollwood office.

Do I have to pay a toll to reach HealthSpine from Town 'n' Country?

The Veterans Expressway is an all-electronic toll road with no cash booths, so the trip runs on a SunPass transponder or is billed to the registered owner by plate. If you would rather not pay a toll coming from Town 'n' Country, Linebaugh Avenue runs east as a surface road from Westchase, through Town 'n' Country and over the expressway, to North Dale Mabry Highway in Carrollwood. That version takes longer at rush hour and costs nothing.
