  • Low back pain and sciatica, which often show up together.
  • Neck pain, including the stiff neck that follows long days at a screen.
  • Headaches with a neck or muscle component.
  • Joint pain in the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, or knee.

Services

Chiropractic care is the core of the practice. The examination comes first. Treatment is matched to what it finds, which can include adjustment of joints that are not moving well and hands-on work of the involved muscles.

Dry needling is available when the examination points to trigger points or myofascial pain (pain from tight bands in muscle). A thin filament needle is placed into the involved muscle.

Acupuncture is offered here as a separate service, with its own examination and its own pricing. It is provided by Dr. Bobby Koser, DC, chiropractic physician, certified in acupuncture by the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine. Dry needling and acupuncture are different treatments. The exam decides which fits your case.

From Citrus Park, the shortest route to the office runs south and east on Gunn Highway, which carries the County Road 587 designation. Gunn Highway crosses Sheldon Road at the corner where Sickles High School sits, then runs east about half a mile to Ehrlich Road and turns south. Just past that turn it passes the Citrus Park Sports Complex, the county ballfields at 7502 Gunn Hwy, and about half a mile further on it passes the turnoff for the Citrus Park Town Center.

From the Town Center turnoff, Gunn Highway runs southeast about 4.6 miles to West Linebaugh Avenue. Turn east there. A quarter mile on, West Linebaugh Avenue meets N. Dale Mabry Highway. Turn north, and the office is about a third of a mile up at 10330 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Suite 205. Look for the pylon sign facing Dale Mabry that reads Concierge Injury & Wellness Care. That drive covers about 5.5 miles and takes 10 to 15 minutes outside rush hour.

A second way in stays on Ehrlich Road instead of turning south with Gunn Highway. From the Gunn Highway and Ehrlich Road intersection, Ehrlich Road runs east across the Veterans Expressway, State Road 589, which has an interchange there, and continues to N. Dale Mabry Highway, where it becomes Bearss Avenue on the far side. Turn south on Dale Mabry and the office is about 2.8 miles down. That version covers close to 8 miles and takes about 15 to 20 minutes outside rush hour.

Hours at the Carrollwood office are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Friday by appointment only. If you have trouble spotting the sign, call 844-51-SPINE (844-517-7463).

From Citrus Park, take Gunn Highway southeast to West Linebaugh Avenue, turn east, and turn north on N. Dale Mabry Highway a quarter mile later. What does a first visit from Citrus Park cost?

The New Patient exam is $195, an introductory price, one per patient, self-pay only. The regular price is $330. It includes a history and physical examination, and Dr. Koser goes over the findings with you before any care is recommended. Our other prices are time-of-service rates, available when you pay in full at the visit. Care billed to a third-party payor, including auto insurance under Florida PIP, health insurance, Medicare, or workers' compensation, is billed on our standard fee schedule without either discount. Every other bookable price is published on our pricing page, so you can read prices before you book.

Is there a chiropractor near Citrus Park that treats car accident injuries?

Yes. HealthSpine treats car accident injuries at the Carrollwood office, about 5.5 miles from the Citrus Park Town Center by way of Gunn Highway and West Linebaugh Avenue. Florida law gives you 14 days from the crash to begin care and keep your no-fault medical benefits. If that window is open, call us and we will get you examined. Book the Auto Accident Injury Visit rather than the standard New Patient exam, since accident care is billed to your auto insurance under Florida PIP.

Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor if I live in Citrus Park?

No. Florida law lets you see a chiropractic physician directly, without a referral from another doctor, and that holds for patients driving in from Citrus Park. Some insurance plans set their own referral rules for coverage, so check your plan if you intend to use insurance for the visit. For the visit itself, no referral is needed before you book at the Carrollwood office on N. Dale Mabry Highway.

Can I reach the office from the Veterans Expressway side of Citrus Park?

Yes. The Veterans Expressway, State Road 589, crosses Citrus Park from north to south and has an interchange at Ehrlich Road. From that interchange, Ehrlich Road runs east to N. Dale Mabry Highway, where the turn is south for the office at 10330 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Suite 205. That way in covers close to 8 miles, against about 5.5 miles on Gunn Highway to West Linebaugh Avenue, so it is the longer of the two.

Do you see patients from Keystone and Westchase as well as Citrus Park?

Yes. Keystone is north of Citrus Park and Gunn Highway runs north through it, so those patients follow one road most of the way in. Westchase is west of Citrus Park, and West Linebaugh Avenue runs east out of Westchase and meets Gunn Highway a quarter mile before N. Dale Mabry Highway. The office is at 10330 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Suite 205, in Carrollwood, and the number is 844-51-SPINE (844-517-7463).

What if I am coming from the Sheldon Road end of Citrus Park?

From Sheldon Road, pick up Gunn Highway at the corner by Sickles High School and follow it east to Ehrlich Road, where Gunn Highway turns south past the Citrus Park Sports Complex and the Citrus Park Town Center. Gunn Highway then runs southeast to West Linebaugh Avenue, where the route turns east for a quarter mile and then north on N. Dale Mabry Highway. That drive is a little over 6 miles and takes about 12 to 18 minutes outside rush hour.
