  • Low back pain and sciatica, which often show up together.
  • Neck pain, including the stiff neck that follows long days at a screen.
  • Headaches with a neck or muscle component.
  • Joint pain in the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, or knee.
  • Hurt in a car accident? Our car accident care page explains the first visit and Florida's 14-day PIP window.

Services

Chiropractic care is the core of the practice. The examination comes first. Treatment is matched to what it finds, which can include adjustment of joints that are not moving well and hands-on work of the involved muscles.

Dry needling is available when the examination points to trigger points or myofascial pain (pain from tight bands in muscle). A thin filament needle is placed into the involved muscle.

Acupuncture is offered here as a separate service, with its own examination and its own pricing. It is provided by Dr. Bobby Koser, DC, chiropractic physician, certified in acupuncture by the Florida Board of Chiropractic Medicine. Dry needling and acupuncture are different treatments. The exam decides which fits your case.

The HealthSpine office is at 10330 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Suite 205, Tampa, FL 33618, in Carrollwood. From Tampa Heights the drive runs north, not south through downtown. Get on Interstate 275 northbound at Exit 46A, Floribraska Avenue, or at Exit 46B, Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and stay on I-275 past the Hillsborough Avenue, Sligh Avenue and Waters Avenue exits to Exit 50, Busch Boulevard. Busch Boulevard runs west from that exit to Dale Mabry Highway, which carries State Road 597 through Carrollwood. Turn north on Dale Mabry, and the office is just north of the West Linebaugh Avenue intersection, on the second floor, behind the pylon sign that reads Concierge Injury & Wellness Care.

Which of the two on-ramps you use matters. Floribraska Avenue, the local street that connects Nebraska Avenue on the east side of Tampa Heights to Florida Avenue on the west, has a partial interchange with I-275: a northbound entrance and a southbound exit, and nothing else. That is the direction you need going out to Carrollwood, and the direction you need coming home. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, the north edge of the neighborhood, is a full interchange with ramps every way, so it works from either side of the highway.

Tampa Heights runs from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on the north down to Interstate 275 and the Hillsborough River on the south, with North Boulevard on the west and Interstate 275 again on the east. Inside those lines, Armature Works stands at 1910 N. Ola Ave, the 1910 streetcar maintenance building that now holds Heights Public Market. Water Works Park runs along the river beside it, with a stretch of the Tampa Riverwalk through it, and Ulele sits at 1810 N. Highland Ave in the 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building.

The Tampa Heights Historic District covers roughly 200 acres and 289 historic buildings, bounded by Adalee Street, Interstate 275, 7th Avenue and North Tampa Avenue, and it went on the National Register of Historic Places on August 4, 1995. From anywhere inside it the trip to Suite 205 covers about 8 to 10 miles and takes about 20 to 25 minutes outside rush hour. Coming back, reverse it: Dale Mabry Highway south to Busch Boulevard, east to Interstate 275, then south to the Floribraska Avenue or Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard exit.

What does a first visit cost for patients coming from Tampa Heights?

The New Patient exam is $195, an introductory price, one per patient, self-pay only. The regular price is $330. It includes a history and physical examination, and Dr. Koser goes over the findings with you before any care is recommended. Our other prices are time-of-service rates, available when you pay in full at the visit. Care billed to a third-party payor, including auto insurance under Florida PIP, health insurance, Medicare, or workers' compensation, is billed on our standard fee schedule without either discount. Every other bookable price is published on our pricing page, so you can read prices before you book.

Is there a chiropractor near Tampa Heights that treats car accident injuries?

Florida law gives you 14 days from the crash to begin care and keep your no-fault medical benefits. If that window is open, call us and we will get you examined. HealthSpine bills car accident care to your auto insurance under Florida PIP. Patients coming from Tampa Heights book the Auto Accident Injury Visit rather than the standard New Patient exam. No. Florida law lets you see a chiropractic physician directly, without a referral from another doctor, whether you live in Tampa Heights or anywhere else in the state. Some insurance plans set their own referral rules for coverage, so check your plan if you intend to use insurance for a visit. For the visit itself, call 844-51-SPINE (844-517-7463) or book online.

Busch Boulevard runs west from Exit 50 to Dale Mabry Highway in Carrollwood, where you turn north. HealthSpine is at 10330 N. Dale Mabry Hwy, Suite 205, just north of West Linebaugh Avenue, about 20 to 25 minutes from Tampa Heights outside rush hour.
